The society was formed back in 1999 for a trip to Killarney in Ireland and we have been visiting there ever since . Apart from their great golfing abilities , members are known for their great fortitude in being able to play in the adverse weather conditions we usually experience in Ireland ( torrential rain , heavy rain , light rain and drizzle ) . Some veteran members even seem to be evolving web feet . Members with a strong constitution have a major advantage in competitions ! This year , 2002 , was unusual in that we actually had five days of glorious sunshine . Below are links to some picture pages .
